The Swim Reaper

The Grim Reaper, scythe in hand, floats down a large river in a bright pink flamingo pool float, passing by a thick wall of foliage behind it. Inspired by an absolutely unhinged photo of this exact scene and the caption "my depressed a** trying to enjoy the stupid stuff I bought when I was manic". It hit me as a bipolar person, as I've definitely been there. That foliage took forever to paint, but I persevered! Painted in 2025 with acrylic paint markers on an 8x8" stretched canvas.
