Cetus, The Whale

About this artwork

A large blue whale swims along the edge of the circular frame, with a stylized galaxy of pink and purple clouds and swirling yellow lights in the background. Metallic gold stars pepper the scene, and there are many different colors of metallic accents throughout. Painted as a challenge to break up my normal artistic style. I chose "Kawaii" as an inspiration, as well as my love of astronomy and space. Painted in 2026 with acrylic paint markers on a 10" circular canvas.
