About this artwork

These illustrations are from my "Anastasia" series. The nested doll serves as a metaphor for the disability experience, reflecting the many layers of identity that exist beyond what is immediately visible. Like matryoshka dolls, disabled lives often contain hidden stories, challenges, strengths, and adaptations that are not apparent on the surface. This illustration explores the complexity of living with invisible disabilities, honoring the ways we carry multiple versions of ourselves: past, present, seen, and unseen, within a single body.
