Visions is a striking mixed media piece inspired by the afro-futuristic Stevie Wonder song of the same title. It was commissioned for a live performance in Scottsdale, Arizona. The artwork depicts a woman’s body crowned with an African mask for a head, rendered in luminous shades of gold, brown, silver, and white. Through its fusion of figurative form and cultural symbolism, Visions explores identity, heritage, and the power of music to awaken imagination. The piece channels Wonder’s soulful energy, transforming rhythm and emotion into visual storytelling that celebrates resilience, creativity, and the connection between body, spirit, and culture.
