Curtis J Jackson

After a successful 35-year career in corporate finance, local artist Curtis J Jackson decided it was "better late than never" to return to his first love: oil painting.

Inspired by his travels, Curtis splits his time between Arizona, Southern California, Mexico, and a summer ranch in Alberta. These diverse landscapes heavily inspire his work, which features breathtaking southwestern scenes, peaceful mountain landscapes, and vibrant seascapes.

For Curtis, painting is a daily passion and a powerful way to move forward after a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis, proving to his children and grandchildren that we can do hard things.

His detailed oil paintings and prints capture the calm, peace, and serenity of nature.
