Bear Canyon Trail, Tucson
The Sonoran Desert is patient. It takes sixty years for a saguaro to grow its first arm. No telling how long it took this once sturdy home to become a crumpled stone foundation overtaken with desert flora. Echos of centuries are coos of a dove perched in mesquite. A roadrunner pauses its daily rounds to remind us time waits for no bird. Acrylic on canvas panel
