I paint what matters to me—the environment and its coexistence with us. My mixed-media process can be slow and methodical or fast and intentional. My style is rhythmic, layered and reflective.

About the artist
Carol Sewell was raised with a Midwestern work ethic and has degrees in fine art, art history and commercial design. She is an experienced graphic designer, creative director and marketing leader who has applied her technical expertise to visual communications, branding and live events. Sewell blends art and science, creating images that are delivered in straightforward and surprising ways. Her work can be seen in juried exhibitions and private collections across the United States. Sewell has received numerous scholarships and awards including the Cannes International Advertising Festival, the New York Art Directors Club, Communication Arts and a Clio. She has a studio at the Factory Arts District in Indianapolis, Indiana and The Summit at Copper Square in Phoenix, AZ.
