Set against a vibrant blue ground, this artwork contains 21 metal mosaic niches, with luminous forms like silent sentinels—a collective of individual lights joined in solidarity evoking resilience, embers of light, protectors of truth, and solidarity in the face of darkness. Guardians of the Flame honors the enduring human impulse to protect hope, love, integrity, and compassion, throughout history and across traditions, amidst injustice and uncertainty.
