Wishing is a hand-embellished silk print created from MJ Okawa's original silk painting. Each piece is individually enhanced by hand, preserving the luminous color and atmospheric beauty of the original artwork. Inspired by the quiet magic of a moonlit landscape, the painting features a glowing full moon, rolling mountain silhouettes, and a sky alive with shimmering shooting stars. Large flakes of kosher salt were carefully placed onto the wet silk dye, creating the sparkling celestial textures that make each shooting star feel wonderfully alive.
