About this artwork
Thresholds explore the fragile terrain between past and future. Torn surfaces, stitched seams, and layered marks carry traces of time, repair, and transformation. Thread moves across the paper like a drawing—sometimes binding, sometimes mending, and sometimes unraveling. The act of stitching becomes both gesture and meditation, holding together fragments of memory while allowing space for change. These works emerged from a period of reflection on the shifting nature of identity, aging, and time. They inhabit the uncertain yet generative territory between who we have been and who we are becoming.
