Sometimes it’s hard for… I made this picture back in 2020 and I decided to repaint it and share it. Overthinking is something that I’ve suffered with for a long time and Ik other’s do as well. Sometimes it’s hard for me to express how I feel but I show it in my paintings/pictures. In 2021 I wondered how it felt to hear silence and really hear myself think. It wasn’t easy but I did it and I want to help anyone that can’t quiet the thoughts or voices. 1.) Buy a journal or use the notes app on your phone and WRITE DOWN EVERY THOUGHT YOU THINK. By doing that, whatever it is that may be repeating in your head won’t be stuck in one place📖✍️. 2.)When you’re ready to acknowledge the repeating thought or voice TELL SOMEONE YOUR COMFORTABLE WITH (like a best friend, sibling or parent) about the voices and how it makes you feel. Doing that you won’t feel alone and you’ve shined a light on something that’s hiding in the dark🌤. 3.) Give the voice a label (don’t give it a name), he/she/they or them, because when you do that you can separate the voice from your own instead of saying “I or Me”👥. It may take a while to hear complete silence but when it happens don’t be scared✨. #1444 #1212 🤍
