As a visual artist, I explore the experiences of trauma, grief, identity, place, the meaning and power of identity, and sociocultural questions and implications. The examination and combination of interrelated norms, values, beliefs, and behaviors play a large role in my theoretical approaches. Art making serves as a tangible tool for dismantling, limiting beliefs and ideas, creating room for change and growth.
