She was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis at the age of 17, and by the age of 20, she was on ten different medications and a monthly infusion. To say she lost all of her late teens and entire 20s, those informative years of exploration, is an understatement. “I remember so vividly the days when I would have to hold my breath and hold onto a wall in order to crawl to the bathroom. I likened the pain to being like someone standing on your back, ripping out your spine, setting your rib cage on fire, and hitting your lower back with a sledgehammer all at the same time.” However, something inside her constantly pulled and told her there was a different way to live. She is an intuitive artist who specializes in wildlife art and has worked with the Jane Goodall Institute, the Institute of Human Origins at ASU, Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest, and more. She has her master’s degree in Anthrozoology from the University of Exeter and is a Certified Master Practitioner of Energy Medicine and Certified SAH Method™ Coach.
