Flying Fish

About this artwork

A solitary goldfish rests in its glass bowl atop an aircraft wing, surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Brilliant blue skies, distant mountains, and sparse desert vegetation create an unexpected setting where reality meets imagination. Blending contemporary abstraction with surreal imagery, the painting explores the delicate balance between vulnerability and freedom, stillness and possibility. Part of Yatzi's Tranquility Interrupted collection, Flying Fish invites viewers to discover their own meaning in a world where the ordinary becomes the extraordinary.
