About this artwork

A figure of welded chain and round stock balances on wings of poured bronze. The bronze was cast during the artist's years as a foundry captain and carries the surface of the pour; the steel figure was built to it. Small in scale, it shows the artist's command of bronze alongside fabricated steel.
