About this artwork

Inspired by the book of Matthew chapter 18, this piece is a representation of the God who would leave the ninety-nine for the one. The loving and endearing Father who would never leave behind the child who wandered off because he has many other children. Each one of his children are accounted for and called by name. The color blue, often seen as a sad color, is used in this art piece to symbolize the security and stability that comes with being a believer.
