Vicki Riske

Vicki Riske, Author, Artist, Puppeteer, has been interested in puppetry and storytelling for many years. She writes and illustrates award winning children’s books. She collaborates with Sonia Elizabeth Urrutia de Soto, creating dual language picture books. Currently they have produced a series of four books, which they publish through We Are Puppeteers, LLC.

Polka Dot Tea Party / Fiesta de Te de Lunares, is a book about Discovery, Friends, and Fun. It Unleashes the magic of exploration, fosters lifelong friendships, and embraces the joy of laughter.

Grandma Bibi / La Abuela Bibi, is a book about Kindness, Memory, and Sharing. This gentle tale celebrates compassion, cherished moments, and the beauty of giving.

Fishy Tales / Los pececitos aventureros, is a book about Earth, Oceans, and Responsibility. It Dives into stories that nurture respect for our planet and instill a sense of stewardship.

Dear Grandma and Grandpa / Queridos abuelos, is a book about love. This heartwarming narrative celebrates the bonds of family, friendship, and unconditional affection.

Vicki and Sonia also create workshops workshops on site in schools, libraries, stores, churches, theaters, gardens, city parks, or homes. They were keynote speakers at the 4th Annual Montana Family Childcare Conference in May 2026.
