I'm a Phoenix, Arizona-based freelance writer and editor, and I love what I do. I get to meet so many different people and have had a lot of different experiences. Here's a little more about my professional background: I run a regional lifestyle magazine called Sedona Monthly. In this role, I write most of the content and see the magazine through from story ideas to the final printer proof. I've also run the regional luxury lifestyle publication So Scottsdale while the editor was out on maternity leave twice for a total of eight months. The publisher was so impressed with my performance that I was brought back to run the publication again. My work also has appeared in national print outlets including Weight Watchers, Bust and Parenting magazines and on sites like Brides, Rachael Ray Every Day, Bustle, Racked, WeddingWire, Refinery29, the Lonely Planet, USA Today and Fast Company.
