About the artist
Stacy Iannaccone is a photographer whose work explores themes of decay, memory, and transformation. She employs alternative photographic processes like Gelatin Silver printing, Pinhole, Lumens, Cyanotypes, and Mordançage, embracing the inherent unpredictability of these techniques to reflect the layered complexities in her art. These hands-on methods enable a deep, tactile engagement with the medium of photography.
Her work has been exhibited nationally, with recent honors including a 2025 Krappy Kamera Competition win at Soho Photo Gallery for her piece Shadow Play and selection for PhotoPlace Gallery’s Ruins and Remnants exhibit with The Last Sale. She has been featured by KJZZ Phoenix, Phoenix New Times, and The Phoblographer, and her photographs have appeared in solo shows at Brill Gallery and Songbird Coffee and Tea House under the series Vacant Visions, a haunting exploration of Phoenix’s abandoned commercial spaces.
Alongside her husband, Stacy co-runs an analog photography darkroom in downtown Phoenix, where she’s dedicated to preserving and advancing the practice of analog photography. Through workshops, community projects, and their analog direct-positive photo booth, they create access points for creative exploration. She also co-hosts The Phoenix Film Revival Podcast, a platform for connection, education, and inspiration within the film photography world.
