Seeing art in the unseen

About the artist
Sarah Watts
I am a visual storyteller from the Midwest whose work exists between reality and self reflection. Through black-and-white self-portraiture and abstract digital compositions, I explore identity, emotion, and transformation. Each image becomes a dialogue with light — a meditation on presence, vulnerability, and the quiet power of becoming. Merging photography and mixed-media abstraction, I try to blur the boundaries between image and intuition. Shadows and textures replace color, inviting the viewer to see beyond surface and form to feel what lies beneath. Every piece is both confession and creation, a visual echo of self-discovery rendered in shades of contrast and truth. My work invites stillness, reflection, and connection a reminder that art is not only what we see, but what we allow ourselves to feel.
