Rachel Rinker

Rachel Rinker (they/them) is a painter and collage artist from the East Coast, U.S., who grew up in Goose Creek, South Carolina and attained their BFA from Clemson University in 2016, but moved to Phoenix most recently from Worcester, Massachusetts to study for their MFA in Studio Art at Arizona State University. Rachel is interested in process, pedagogy and play, and the intersections where memories, life experiences, and the present moment collide in material exploration. Bursts of energy onto various substrates punctuate times of rest and observation as Rachel experiences the world’s pervasive interconnectedness.
