Preston Zeller

Preston Zeller is an artist with accomplishments across multiple mediums, including film, photography, music, and fine art. Following the death of his brother in 2019, Preston set out to paint for a year straight to process his own grief and share the experience along the way to stir conversation about how we deal with grief in society. The 365 paintings, which create a 10’x20’ mosaic, are the subject of a feature-length documentary entitled, “The Art of Grieving”. The documentary was released in Summer 2022 across Amazon Prime, AppleTV, and other streaming platforms, and has been viewed in over 30 countries. Since its release, the documentary has received critical praise and has been covered by major news syndicates of Fox, CBS, KTLA, Associated Press, NPR, and more. Preston now helps others through grief by creating abstract memorial paintings. He aims to normalize grief conversations in culture and increase healthy ways of dealing with grief.
