Photography, ceramics, film, and digital media were the areas where I didn’t have full family immersion, which may be exactly why I was drawn to explore them so deeply on my own. Creativity was never a single discipline in my world. It was an ecosystem.

I grew up surrounded by artists, illustrators, musicians, songwriters, photographers, writers, and poets, alongside makers whose artistry lived in kitchens, fabric, and form through bread-making, elaborate cakes, clothing design, dolls, wood-working, quilting, cross-stitch, embroidery, rug-hooking, and more. Creative expression wasn’t treated as separate from daily life. It was simply how life was lived.
