About the artist
Linda Pullinsi
“To capture the spirit of nature is the object of my art journey. The sparkling reflections on water and dancing patterns of light and shadow on trees and rugged mountains excite me and keep my brush moving.” Linda Pullinsi fell in love with the Southwest during a visit at age 14 having grown up in Minnesota. Drawn to the incredible light, fragrant orange blossoms, and mountains, she moved to Arizona for college. Like many artists Pullinsi began in graphic design but soon moved to creating fine art and teaching others to create. Linda has taught art for 30 years all over the valley of the sun and including for Scottsdale Artists’ School for the past 20 years and as a mentor and professional teaching instructor for Free Arts for Abused Children of AZ for 30 years. She continues to evolve and support her community. Her art has evolved many times over the years and currently Ms Pullinsi paints mostly oil landscapes often from life outdoors. You will find her hiking, camping, and painting all over the Southwest or in her studio at Cattletrack Art Compound in Scottsdale.
