Joey Melinda Morgan

Joey Melinda Morgan was born, raised and currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona and is a self-taught artist. She utilizes photography and professional digital skills to create a unique, composite imagery style. Texture found in nature, captured from a digital camera, a drone or both, is the main subject matter of her work. Images are digitally layered and manipulated to spark curiosity and take the viewer on a visual exploration of texture and color. Joey’s art career spans over ten years and she has had the privilege of being a solo exhibitionist as well as participating in juried, group exhibitions. Her work can be found in corporate settings as well as private homes across the country. Creating art is Joey’s number one passion. Travel is a very close second. Being able to combine the two is pure exuberance. Traveling to places to capture nature’s texture for a future piece of art is part of her fervent journey as an artist.
