Javan Jordan

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Javan Jordan has been creating art for as long as he can remember. A self-taught artist, he later studied multimedia at Salish Kootenai College, where he refined his skills in design, photography, videography, and digital illustration.

While touring nationally as a hip-hop artist, Javan designed album covers and merch for Snoop Dogg, EPMD, Strange Music, and other influential artists before transitioning into the comic book industry. His work has been published by DC Comics and featured on titles including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe, The Boys, Invincible, and more.

After years working digitally, Jordan turned to painting in search of a more instinctive and expressive creative process. His work blends street culture, Black Americana, hip-hop, and contemporary fine art into bold, colorful compositions that invite conversation while celebrating culture, history, and identity.

Now based in Phoenix, Arizona, Jordan continues to create work that is unapologetically authentic as he pursues gallery representation and expands his reach among collectors.
