Heather SmithGearns

H.SmithGearns is an artist currently living in the desert Southwest. An Arizona native, growing up in Northern Arizona. A mother, wife, and grandmother She has been an artist her whole life, only professional since 1995. Happiest when working in mixed media, something she has grown into over time. Also a knitter, she hopes to branch out into more fiber art in the future. Heather is also a board member for Mesa's The Millet House Gallery, and Art collective member. for the same gallery space. Also, an artist with the Phoenix based ArtThena a women's art group. She loves to use color, line, and form to explore what it means to be a human. Adaptation, flexibility and adjusting externally,and internally to life's ever changing realities.
