Greg Meyer MD

Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine, one that truly took shape during my college years as a staff photographer for The Daily Illini at the University of Illinois. My love for the outdoors and travel inspired me to document the world through my lens, leading to the publication of my self-published book, Arizona Places: Otherworldly and Beautiful, in 2016. In addition to photography, my career has spanned over 30 years as a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Urgent Care, with specialized training in homeopathy. This path allowed me to travel to 35 countries and engage in medical work in southern Africa and Haiti, deepening my appreciation for the diverse beauty of our world. I am channeling my energy into my twin passions: landscape and astrophotography. From capturing the awe-inspiring expanse of the Milky Way in timelapses to the intricate beauty of deep-sky objects, the night sky is a constant source of inspiration. I also find joy in photographing the breathtaking landscapes of the American Southwest, both by day and under the stars. Drone Photography gives a new perspective to my subjects.
