David Pennington

I am an Arizona resident artist from 1977 working as both a painter and collage artist. The work available for view on my website link is a sampling from the past 10 years of the collage work. It involves panoramic strip style images presenting loose story lines where populating figures operate within abstract, surreal and fantasy space. Accompanying dialogue is also “collaged” from various sources presenting as loose and at time oblique meaning. The work references art historical, metaphorical, ironic, surreal and existential themes.
