Ashannahi

Everything starts with nothing, I started my journey taking ashes from sage and cinnamon and put it to a canvas to see what would happen. From then I started throwing everything at it as I have been able to write letters and burn them to now reveal a beautiful painting and the pain that was released is now a beautiful piece I can enjoy and know I will be ok. I am ready to share this side of me <3

The name Ashannahi was inspired by a meditation session when I asked for things to be revealed and I surrendered to all the pain. This came through so clear, therefore it has now become where I draw inspiration when I myself try to doubt myself. I may be Susette in my everyday life, but more and more this side of me is merging. Ashannahi is at the forefront of representing what I could not all those years.
