Amelia Walsh

Hi, I’m Amelia Walsh, a Phoenix-based fashion and multi-media design and creative marketing professional with over 20 years of creative and design leadership. My passion lies in blending sustainable materials, cutting-edge digital technology, and hand-crafted artistry to create innovative, eco-friendly designs.

At FABRIC Incubator, I’ve had the chance to lead exciting initiatives like Eco Fashion Week and the “Behind the Seams” series, where I get to share insights on sustainable fashion and technology. I love pushing boundaries with tools like the Kornit Presto printer and NFC digital product passports, helping brands make unique, sustainable pieces.

I’m thrilled to be part of the Artist in Residence program at the Tempe Center for the Arts from May to July, with an installation set for their 2025 exhibit. It’s such an amazing opportunity to showcase my craft through the eyes of art and not just business and connect with the community through creativity.

My designs, like the Flutter Collection featured at the Canvas Fashion Show, are all about combining nature-inspired forms with modern techniques. I’m all about sustainability, using reclaimed materials and crafting everything by hand in my home studio.

Teaching is another passion of mine. I love mentoring up-and-coming designers at Phoenix College and Arizona State University, sharing my journey and inspiring others to embrace sustainable fashion. It’s exciting to be part of this growing movement, creating fashion that not only looks good but does good for the planet.
