Sarah Simmerman, an Arizona-based abstract artist, uses her art to explore emotions and growth. Inspired by color’s transformative power, she creates abstract works that blend structure with a sense of release. Layering vibrant colors and patterns, each piece reflects her introspective journey, aiming to evoke a sense of peace and understanding in the viewer. Her studio in Surprise is open to the public Tuesday – Friday 10-4 & Sat 10-2 She is a Board Member at Ground Floor Artists, a nonprofit supporting the arts in Phoenix’s West Valley, and her paintings have been included in numerous exhibitions around the Phoenix metro area.
