Connecting Arizona’s Arts and Culture Community for Nearly Four Decades
ArtistsAZ is powered by Artlink Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting artists, arts organizations, businesses, and community members across Arizona. Since 1989, Artlink has strengthened the state’s creative ecosystem by fostering collaboration, amplifying visibility, and celebrating the people who make Arizona a culturally vibrant place to live, work, and explore.
Our Story
It all began in 1988, when downtown Phoenix artists opened their studios to the public for a grassroots art walk called Art Detour—an invitation to experience the city’s creativity in a new way, beyond the walls of traditional institutions. The event inspired the founding of Artlink Inc. the following year, establishing a lasting commitment to connecting the arts and culture community.
Our Impact
- 3,500+ Articipants: Artists, organizations, and arts-supportive businesses currently registered with Artlink.

Innovation in Connection

Artinerary brings together artists, venues, and audiences in one accessible online destination, making it easier than ever to explore, engage, and participate in Arizona’s creative scene.
- Customizable Artist Profiles: Artists who register as an “Articipant” with Artlink can upload a profile on ArtistsAZ that includes a bio, images of work, social links, and more.
- Visibility: The directory gives artists exposure beyond their local studio practice by positioning them in a searchable statewide listing.
- Connection to Opportunity: Through the profile and directory presence, artists become visible for commissions, gallery interest, corporate engagement or other calls to artists.
