They symbolize the wisdom, fearlessness, and divine pride of the bodhisattvas who have made a vow to renounce the happiness of the highest enlightenment and remain in this working world until all sentient beings are free from suffering. As we work through our dharma, the nature of reality and one's conformity to duty and nature, we can rest in the protection of the lion and move forward in this world with wisdom, kindness, and compassion.

Over one-third of her life was consumed with doctors, hospitals, and medications. She was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis at the age of 17, and by the age of 20, she was on ten different medications and a monthly infusion. To say she lost all of her late teens and entire 20s, those informative years of exploration, is an understatement. “I remember so vividly the days when I would have to hold my breath and hold onto a wall in order to crawl to the bathroom. I likened the pain to being like someone standing on your back, ripping out your spine, setting your rib cage on fire, and hitting your lower back with a sledgehammer all at the same time.” However, something inside her constantly pulled and told her there was a different way to live. There was more. And if you’ve heard that as well, she is here to help you answer that call. Jennifer healed her autoimmune disease and is healing those parts of her that have been screaming so loud to be heard, to be felt, to be seen, and she is here to help you do the same. Whether it is to live more peacefully in a body with disease, to heal completely, or to regain safety within a body that was once, or currently is, so terrifying to live in, Jennifer is here to help guide you and assist you in coming back home. As a trauma-informed practitioner, Jennifer has worked in shelters for the unhoused, state-run mental health facilities, sexual assault crisis centers, community art centers, equine therapy centers, and academia. She is an intuitive artist who specializes in wildlife art and has worked with the Jane Goodall Institute, the Institute of Human Origins at ASU, Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest, and more. She has her master’s degree in Anthrozoology from the University of Exeter and is a Certified Master Practitioner of Energy Medicine and Certified SAH Method™ Coach. Through the Somatic Activated Healing Method, energy medicine, and artistic exploration, Jennifer will teach you how to come back home to your body: to be able to feel your emotions without wanting to run away and have the tools to carry this knowledge through your lifetime. Although our stories are important, they are not all we are. This is where your power lies. What if you could drop the stories you’ve been told about who you are and are continuing to tell yourself, and just be? To live fully and experience all life has to offer from a fully embodied perspective. “Let me guide you to see your pain in a different way… to see your story in a different light. To find that power within, the voice that tells you there is more.”
