Galina Mihaleva

Galina Mihaleva is a fashion designer, artist, and researcher working at the intersection of wearable technology, smart textiles, and bio-design. With over twenty years of experience, her practice explores how garments can function as responsive systems—connecting the human body to environmental, cultural, and technological contexts. She is the founder and director of the ADM Lab of Open Matters (LOOM) and has collaborated with institutions including the MIT Media Lab. Mihaleva’s work has been exhibited internationally and recognized through numerous awards, advancing sustainable, transdisciplinary approaches to fashion and design.
