She began her adventure in art with black and white photography and taking family photos. Recently she has waded into the world of professional art. The close-up photo is her passion, zooming in to reveal bizarre shapes, vibrant color, interesting textures, and patterns. Anything and everything is a potential photograph, from a small bug, to cascading water, an undulating reflection or shadow, even a closeup of a cliff wall. Whatever the subject her goal is to reveal a world that can be beautiful and unique or wild, bizarre, and chaotic. Cheri has shown 5 pieces in the Portland on The Park exhibitions. One piece was chosen for their permanent collection. Two more pieces are currently on display in the FOUND:RE Hotels' ‘Sleeping With The Artist’ Exhibition.
