Joe Ray
Joe is a public artist and visual artist (painter, printmaker, sculptor), creative director, illustrator, and storyteller based in Scottsdale, AZ. He is an instructor at Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. His vibrant, bi-cultural perspective, shaped by the Arizona and Mexico regions, is reflected in his work, which has been exhibited and published throughout the U.S. and Mexico. Known for its evocative color and passion, much of his art incorporates cultural iconography, such as corazones filled with vitality. Joe frequently presents at regional and national conferences, weaving storytelling into his topics to create a strong sense of place and emotion that deeply engages audiences.
