Casey Wakefield

Casey Wakefield (b. 1978) originally from Illinois and now residing in Arizona, is an abstract painter. Following her studies at the Milan Art Institute in 2018, she devoted herself to a full-time studio practice. Wakefield is known for her atmospheric paintings, utilizing mediums such as charcoal, graphite, acrylic, and oil to create expressive and captivating works.   In her artistic exploration, Wakefield delves into the essence of the creative process, transforming intangible emotions into tangible expressions. Her body of work encompasses various series and projects, each contributing to her evolving narrative.
