Ali Mariles Golamb

Ali Mariles Golamb is a ceramic artist originally from Tijuana, Mexico. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in ceramics from ASU’s Herberger College of Fine Arts in 2007. Since then, Ali has worked to expand her knowledge of the medium by continuing to take ceramic classes and workshops with many different ceramic artists around the Phoenix area. Currently, she is a ceramic teaching artist at Edna Vihel Arts Center in Tempe. Much of her ceramic work is inspired by the cultural richness of her country. Ali adds a great variety of color and texture to the surfaces of her work. Many of these textures reflect her cultural background. She also takes inspiration from the desert landscape that surrounds her.
