Panco’s large scale paintings subvert conventional norms of figuration by imbuing non-human forms with agency and presence, questioning the anthropocentric view of consciousness, and creating a transgressive visual language through post-humanist theory. Panco’s work has been recognized through prestigious national organizations and has garnered numerous grants, scholarships, and fellowships that have enabled her to expand her artistic horizons through national and international travel, and numerous exhibitions resulting in acquisitions by public institutions and private foundations.
