Tiesha Harrison
Tiesha Harrison is a Storytelling Visual Artist who uses art to engage, educate, uplift and transform the community. She served in a variety of leadership roles ranging from a core employee of Arizona’s premier leadership development program to planning highly anticipated events for Arizona honorees to now leading a thriving transformative art business. Her purpose is to incorporate painting and art immersive experiences to evoke vulnerability to connect with art collectors, viewers, partners and the trauma-informed community. Her artwork often includes bold visuals, vibrant concepts, mixed media, collective collaboration and hand-cut collages that create layers of insight within the story. Art collectors best described her work as fearless, intuitive, bold, inspiring and infinitely expanding. It is the reflection of the depths of her imagination and life experiences creating dialogue with the masses through visual narratives. In addition to her studio work, she facilitates healing art workshops and experiences to bring awareness to important topics like mental health and domestic violence. She believes in higher power and aligns with her inner soul to create artwork that is on purpose and speaks to and from the soul. As an artist, her underlying foundation is to use her work to collaborate, bridge communities, and expose the voices of those who have been silenced and welcome others to fully embrace their UNDEFINED soul. She graduated from Milan Art Institute and has a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University. She has been featured in VoyagePhoenix Magazine, Arizona Informant, Artist on the Cutting Edge Magazine, The Conversationalist, Sexy Freedom Media Podcast, Radio Phoenix with Alvin Galloway, Finding Arizona Podcast, Feminine Essence Podcast and has been recognized by “Achieving My Purpose” for their Celebration of Women Leaders award for her community impact. Tiesha has collaborated and produced collaborative murals for the McCain Institute: R.E.A.L. Friends Don’t Online Safety Campaign for Arizona, Phoenix Phabulous Experience, City of Chandler Multicultural Festival and facilitated healing art workshops for the City of Phoenix: Paint Phoenix Purple for domestic violence awareness month, Arizona Arts Education Association, West Valley Arts, Scottsdale Arts Learning and Innovation to name a few. Tiesha’s dedication to her community has resulted in her involvement in many projects across the valley through servant creative leadership.
